Catalogues
We publish our illustrated books on the Art Collection Deutsche Börse, titled “XL Photography”. With generous illustrations and introductory texts on the artists' respective groups of works, the "XL Photography" catalogues show the development and constant expansion of the collection. Each volume contains all new acquisitions since the publication of the previous catalogue.
So far, seven volumes of the "XL Photography" series have been published. The catalogues are available either from the individual publishers or from bookshops.
XL Photography 7 – Art Collection Deutsche Börse
"XL Photography 7", the seventh illustrated book in the collection, documents the new acquisitions from 2019 to 2022 and was published in February 2024. The catalogue presents the works of 24 artists and includes a foreword by Dr Theodor Weimer, Chairman of the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse AG, and an introduction by Anne-Marie Beckmann, Director of the Foundation and curator of the Art Collection Deutsche Börse. The featured artists are Verdiana Albano, Christian Borchert, Alejandro Cartagena, Daniel Castro Garcia, Larry Clark, Maisie Cousins, Sylvain Couzinet-Jacques, Cristina de Middel, Harry Gruyaert, Anton Kusters, Ute and Werner Mahler, Philip Montgomery, Anders Petersen, Mimi Plumb, Anastasia Samoylova, Jamel Shabazz, Christine Spengler, Mikhael Subotzky and Patrick Waterhouse, Hayahisa Tomiyasu, Henry Wessel, Tom Wood and Ulrich Wüst.
XL Photography 6 – Art Collection Deutsche Börse
"XL Photography 6" is the sixth illustrated book in the collection and documents the new acquisitions from 2015 to 2018. It includes 20 artistic positions by Florian Albrecht-Schoeck, Judith Amman, Jana Bissdorf, Walker Evans, Samuel Fosso, Weronika Gęsicka, Paul Graham, Hsu-Pin Lee, Dana Lixenberg, Lilly Lulay, Mike Mandel, Susan Meiselas, Zanele Muholi, Gabriele and Helmut Nothhelfer, Helga Paris, Gordon Parks, Heinrich Riebesehl, Julian Röder, Malte Sänger and Guy Tillim. The bilingual, full-colour catalogue contains an introduction by Anne-Marie Beckmann, curator of the Art Collection Deutsche Börse, and is published by Kehrer Verlag. It is available in bookshops.

"XL Photography 5" is the fifth illustrated book in the collection and presents new acquisitions from 2011 to 2014. It includes 20 artistic positions by Diane Arbus, Olivia Arthur, Peter Bialobrzeski, Mike Brodie, Gerd Danigel, Bruce Davidson, Lucas Foglia, Paul Fusco, Aymeric Fouquez, Ernst Haas, Evelyn Hofer, Mirko Krizanovic, Ivo Kuhn, Sandra Mann, Vivian Maier, Richard Mosse, Paolo Pellegrin, Regine Petersen, Moises Saman, John Stezaker, Pentti Sammallahti, Karl Hugo Schmölz, Gunnar Smoliansky and Peter van Agtmael.
